As part of an ongoing design refresh for Neff's digital platform, the product list page was undergoing visual and functional improvements to better align with the brand’s evolving identity. A key area of focus was the filter chip component—a critical element in helping users refine and navigate product results.
Problem
The existing filter chips on the Neff product list page lacked visual alignment and consistency, resulting in a disjointed user experience. The spacing, layout, and interaction styles did not align with the updated design direction, making the filters feel visually disconnected from the rest of the interface. Additionally, outdated color treatments did not reflect Neff’s refreshed brand identity, reducing overall cohesion across the page. To maintain a consistent and intuitive filtering experience, there was a clear need to redesign the chips using the latest color styles, improve their spatial arrangement, and bring them in line with the updated UI system.
Outcome
To address the inconsistencies in the filter chip design, I introduced a refined component aligned with Neff’s latest design system. The new chips feature improved spacing and alignment for better visual balance, ensuring they integrate seamlessly within the product list layout. We applied updated color styles to reflect the brand’s refreshed visual identity, enhancing both clarity and aesthetics. Interactive states such as hover and selection were also optimized for accessibility and responsiveness, creating a more intuitive filtering experience. This redesign not only brought visual harmony to the interface but also improved usability and consistency across the entire product browsing journey.
