The original Porsche Model Start Configuration page presented users with a card layout that lacked sufficient vehicle specifications and key product information. As a result, users had limited context when arriving from the model series page, making it difficult to quickly understand the core features and differences between model variants.
Outcome
The redesigned Model Start Configuration page delivered a more dynamic and informative experience, built using the latest version of Porsche’s design system to ensure visual consistency and system-wide scalability. The new card layout showcased each model variant with key specifications—such as engine type, performance, and price—allowing users to quickly compare options at a glance. A modal was introduced to house deeper technical details without overwhelming the main interface, supporting a cleaner and more focused layout. Additionally, a side filter was implemented to help users narrow down models based on preferred criteria, streamlining the decision-making process. These enhancements collectively improved user engagement, reduced drop-off, and created a more intuitive entry point into the car configuration journey.
